Shipping costs are determined by your order total. Certain items bear a shipping surcharge based on size and/weight. These surcharges are clearly shown on applicable product pages.

An additional charge of $6 will be added for each additional shipping address in a single order.

Shipping times
The times listed below estimate the expected number of business days it will take for in-stock merchandise to be shipped from our facilities and delivered to you. ("Business days" means Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.) In some cases, merchandise may actually ship earlier than expected.

Most purchases are shipped directly from The Vintage Rose Cottage. However, some items may be shipped directly from our suppliers which may take a little longer and/or items ordered together may be shipped/received separately.

Our cost to ship some furniture, rugs and other large or oversized items may be a little higher. These items will be flagged (as additional shipping expense) on your order and reflect a delivery surcharge in addition to regular delivery charges. Custom orders ship by ground; in-stock items ship within two business days. Common providers such as USPS, UPS, Fed-ex and other tranporters will be used at the discretion of TVRC.

Layaway TOP

We are happy to provide "LAYAWAY" as an option for customers for the purchase of any single item exceeding $100.00. There are two plans available:

$100.00 to $300.00 is eligible for a 60 day layaway.

$300.01 and above is eligible for a 90 day layaway.

Shipping charges will be required with your final layaway payment.

Requirements:

25% initial deposit due immediately
subsequent equal payments totaling balance are due on the 30th day following the initial payment and thereafter (30, 60 and 90 days).
Incremental payments are acceptable as long as the required amount is paid in full every 30 days.

Failure to maintain payments in a timely manner (not to exceed 7 calanedar days of the due date) will be considered a default in the layaway agreement. The item will be returned to stock and any payments forfeited (non-refundable).

Merchandise will be shipped within three calendar days after fulfilling your financial obligation under the layaway contract. An email will confirm receipt of payment and advise of shipment.

Return Policy TOP

We're certain you'll be happy with your merchandise. We take extra care to fully describe our items, including any flaws. If you have any questions about the item(s) you are ordering, please use our question form to ask us about the item before placing your order.

If that rare occasion arises where you feel you must return an item, please contact us for return instructions within three (3) days (by phone or email) of receipt of your item(s). Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item(s), we will issue a refund for your item(s) if returned in the same condition as it was when it was sent to you excluding any shipping/insurance costs for which you were responsible. Buyer is responsible for return shipping/insurance costs, which will not be reimbursed for any reason. Returned merchandise must be received by us within seven (7) days of the date from which you contact us regarding the return.

Restocking TOP
We currently do not charge restocking fees.

Damages TOP

We take extra precautions to pack our orders to prevent damage and breakage. If, despite our efforts, your order does arrive damaged, you must work with the carrier (UPS, Postal Service, etc) to file the claim. They will normally want to see the entire order (all contents and all original packing material). They will send the claim to us for processing. Do not repack and do not return the damaged items to us unless you are instructed to do so. This will void the insurance and we will not be able to give you a refund.
